Project Restore

Project Restore facilitates the reintegration of homeless persons with mental illness into the community.  Criteria include individuals who are homeless with no entitlements, have a diagnosis of a chronic mental illness, and have a verifiable need for services.  These services are provided at no cost to the individual.

"Getting out there for the homeless." Helping to fund this program is the Siouxland Sleep-Out. The 2009 Sleep-Out was November 6th. In 2009 this event impacted Project Restore with a $10,000 donation. These funds will be used to assist homeless clients with getting medical treatment, prescription medications, deposits on apartments, bus passes, picture ID’s. For many people these are basic things we don’t think twice about. For someone in Project Restore it can have an amazing impact.
