Only people who are members of Friendship House can attend.
Membership is extended to adults (18 and older) who have been diagnosed with a serious and persistent mental illness who have basic social skills, no recent history of violence, or current criminal charges.
Providers who are interested in referring an individual can request a referral form from Kathy Roberts, Manager, at robertsk@siouxlandmentalhealth.com
Membership, Meals, and all Activities are free to Woodbury County Residents. For non-residents there is a one time fee- $10.
We provide many wellness opportunities such as Peer Recovery Group, WRAP, Education Presentations, Community Volunteer Opportunities, Peer Visiting at Hospital Inpatient Unit, and Peer Support Services.
Some of the activities include:
- on-line computer access
- books and movie library
- wii games
- community outings
- pool table
- darts
- out-door activities
A lunch meal is available Monday – Friday at 11:45. Saturday a light lunch is also served. Meals are free to all members. Snacks are available outside of meal time.
