    Martin named executive director of SMHC

    Martin named executive director of SMHC

    Originally posted on the Sioux City Journal Siouxland Mental Health Center has named Sheila Martin as its new executive director. Martin will succeed Jim Rixner, who held the position for the past 19 years. Martin will oversee the operations of the non-profit organization, which provides comprehensive and integrated mental health treatment. Martin graduated from Briar Cliff University

    Making a Difference

    There has been alot of exciting things happening at Siouxland Mental Health Center (SMHC) this summer. SMHC was the recipent of the Tyson Summer Internship Program sponsored by Tyson Foods and Iowa Campus Compact. The goal for this summer program was to have a marketing intern to help get our mission out to the community.
